Élise began her career as a fashion and beauty journalist, writing for leading magazines such as Glamour, Vogue, and Cosmopolitan before embarking on her entrepreneurial journey and launching her bridal fashion label, Élise Hameau.
Featured in some of the world’s most prestigious fashion publications, chosen by thousands of brides, and collaborating with renowned brands such as Chantelle, Make My Lemonade, and Frangin Frangine, success quickly followed. Élise Hameau became one of the most sought-after bridal brands in France for women preparing to say “I do.”
But then…
Eight years later, with seven employees, fourteen distributors across three continents, and one-year-old twins at home, burnout struck. Élise decided to say “enough” and closed the brand.
Since then, she has left Paris—the city where she grew up—to move abroad with her family to a country she barely knew and whose language she did not speak: Portugal.
Under the Lisbon sun, she started over from scratch. Today, she helps businesses transform into Love Brands—brands that are highly desirable, emotionally engaging, and deeply connected to their audiences.
She has maintained strong ties to the fashion industry as a speaker and active member of the fashion ecosystem of the French Ready-to-Wear Federation, while also serving as a mentor and expert for the French Leather and Accessories Federation.
On March 10, Élise will be back in Paris to share the highlights, challenges, triumphs, and disappointments of her remarkable journey—from building a successful brand to reinventing herself on her own terms.
