CURIOSITY CLUB FEDERATION, an association governed by the French law of 1901, with RNA number W751280811 and registered office at 1, rue de la Dhuis, 75020 Paris, operates and maintains, as of the date hereof, the website www.curiosity-club.co.

The user, whether a natural or legal person, regardless of their status or business activity, agrees to read these Terms of Use carefully before using the Site.

These Terms of Use apply to all visits to and use of the Site, as well as to its content, information, recommendations, and/or services provided. By accessing and using the Site, you signify your full acceptance of these Terms of Use. Access to the Site’s services is strictly conditional on the user’s unconditional acceptance and compliance with these Terms of Use. If you do not fully accept these Terms of Use, you must refrain from using the Site.

The applicable Terms of Use are those in effect at the time of each user’s visit. It is understood that at any time, CURIOSITY CLUB FEDERATION may freely modify them. Such modifications shall be deemed communicated to the User upon their publication on the Site.

  • Site: refers to the website www.curiosity-club.co.

  • Association: refers to CURIOSITY CLUB FEDERATION.

  • User: refers to any person who browses or uses the Site.


Content on the Site

Purpose of the Content

The Association operates the Site to provide Users with regular informational, inspirational, and entertaining content, as well as information about its activities.

Ownership and Protection of Site Content

The Site is the exclusive property of the Association worldwide. All content displayed on the Site—including, without limitation, text, graphics, photographs, images, videos, software, sounds, illustrations, logos, trademarks, and domain names (collectively, the “Content”)—belongs to the Association and is protected under copyright, trademark law, and other intellectual property rights.

No part of the Site or its Content may be copied or transmitted by any means. The Site and its Content, unless explicitly stated otherwise, remain the exclusive property of the Association. Any unauthorized use of the Site or its Content constitutes an infringement and may be prosecuted under applicable law.


Lifestyle Section

Users may access a Lifestyle section that includes product or service recommendations by the Association. These recommendations do not constitute any guarantee of service quality.


Events Section

The Association has established a network of independent “clubs” sharing values under the registered Curiosity Club brand. Under an affiliation agreement, these independent entities organize events for which Users may purchase tickets. These independent entities may take any legal form of their choosing: association, company, or other.

Organization of Events

Each entity organizes events at its discretion, defining all conditions including price, schedule, location, and modalities. All relevant information is provided on the dedicated event page. Questions can be directed via the contact section.

Role of the Association

The Association acts as an intermediary under an agreement allowing it to promote events organized by other entities on the Site. It does not participate in organizing these events.

Ticketing and Online Registration

The Site allows Users to purchase tickets for events organized by third parties. The ticketing and payment service is provided by the company WEEZEVENT, whose terms and conditions must be read and accepted by the User before purchasing tickets (WEEZEVENT T&Cs).


Newsletter

The Association also operates a newsletter service for Users who have registered:

  • via the Site,

  • via event registration,

  • via social networks.

The management of personal data provided during registration is governed by our Privacy Policy. Users can unsubscribe using the link at the bottom of each newsletter.


Personal Data and Privacy Policy

Users will find below a section dedicated to managing their personal data and the measures in place to protect their privacy.

User Obligations

Users agree not to reproduce, modify, alter, copy, republish, transmit, sell, or distribute in any way programs or any content made available on the Site without the prior express consent of the Association.

Users understand and accept that it is strictly prohibited, regardless of their status or activity, to implement a systematic indexing mechanism for any part of the content on the Site, including via deep hyperlinks, to offer such content on any other website for public or commercial purposes.


Liability

The use of the Site and newsletter content is the sole responsibility of the User.

The Association disclaims any liability in case of service unavailability resulting from force majeure, including:

  • Any anomaly of the User’s IT equipment,

  • Unforeseeable and insurmountable acts of a third party,

  • Internet downtime,

  • Force majeure as defined in Article 1218 of the French Civil Code,

  • Any commercial relationship between a User and a natural or legal person discovered via the Site,

  • Any problems related to the organization of events or accidents occurring during an event,

  • Inaccuracies in informational content on the Site.


Governing Law and Jurisdiction

Jurisdiction: Any disputes arising from these TOU, including validity, interpretation, execution, resolution, consequences, and follow-up, shall fall under the jurisdiction of the courts of the Paris Court of Appeal.

Governing Law: French law applies. The TOU are drafted in French. In case of translation, the French version prevails.


Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how the Association collects and uses Users’ personal data and the options available regarding the use of such data. This policy applies to browsing the Site.

By accessing the Site and providing information, Users agree to this policy. We recommend consulting it regularly.

What Personal Data Is Collected?

Users can visit the Site without providing personal information such as name, email, postal address, phone number, date of birth, or gender (collectively, “Personal Data”).

However, to register or access certain services, Users may need to provide Personal Data. Providing such data is voluntary; if you choose not to provide Personal Data, some services may not be available.

We collect Personal Data when:

  • You register to receive our newsletter,

  • You register to attend an event.

Collected data may include:

  • Name and surname

  • Date of birth

  • City of residence

Personal Data is processed by the Association for the purpose of providing services, managing our relationship with beneficiaries, and sending personalized offers to improve your experience.

Without limiting the generality of the above, Personal Data may be used for:

  • Improving our activities to better meet Users’ needs.

Legal basis for processing: Consent of the individual.


Retention of Personal Data

Curiosity Club commits to retaining Personal Data only for as long as necessary for the purposes for which it is processed:

  • Event registration: until the day after the event,

  • Newsletter subscription: for the duration of the subscription.

Data may be retained longer to comply with legal obligations.


Data Sharing

Personal Data may be shared with:

  • Technical service providers managing CRM tools and newsletters,

  • Technical service providers managing ticketing on our Site (WEEZEVENT),

  • Public authorities, judicial officers, or officials, to comply with laws or respond to authorized requests.

Unless otherwise stated or authorized, Personal Data will not be sold, marketed, or lent to other companies. In the event of acquisition, merger, or sale of assets, Personal Data may be transferred but will remain subject to this Privacy Policy.

No Personal Data is transferred outside the EU.

Access to personal data is strictly limited to:

  • The Association’s office and, if applicable, subcontractors,

  • Local Curiosity Club network associations for the chosen city.
