By offering a first job opportunity to Syrian refugee women, they contribute to their journey toward autonomy and to their integration into Quebec society as active members of it.
Faced with the social, cultural, and economic challenges encountered by newcomers in Canada, Les Filles Fattoush offer Syrian women a meaningful opportunity for integration.
Their project enables new arrivals to make use of their culinary skills, generate income, and build important social connections.
On June 5th, Geneviève, Managing Director, and Adelle, Co-founder and partners in the project, will join us to share the inspiring story behind Les Filles Fattoush, and to explain how this unique initiative helps foster self-esteem, create intercultural connections, and open new professional opportunities for Syrian women in Canada.
