Putting words to subjects we too often avoid talking about...
A sexologist committed to advancing gender equality, Margaux regularly speaks out on social media, in the press, and through her newsletter on topics including sexuality, couples therapy, feminism, and money.
She promotes a new vision of sexuality—one that moves beyond traditional, heteronormative and penetration-centered narratives. Through her work, she invites us to rethink our relationship with sex, challenge dominant scripts, reinvent our erotic narratives, and reclaim ownership of our bodies and desires.
After years of listening, reading, questioning, doubting, and engaging in both intimate and political conversations about sex, desire, consent, silence, pain, performative pleasure, and the weight of social norms—years spent exploring what hurts us, what confines us, and what silences us—Margaux decided to write her first book, La Malbaise.
This book speaks to anyone who has learned to suppress their feelings, pretend, or believe that their experiences were simply “normal.” It addresses women, men, and all those affected by sexual expectations and societal pressures, with the aim of giving words to what is too often left unspoken.
On November 17, Margaux will join us to discuss these topics that remain far too taboo. Through her insights and experience, she will help us challenge patriarchal patterns and reclaim our sexuality, our bodies, and, ultimately, our lives as women.
