The summer is ending soon but we have some reassuring news for you: the Curiosity Club Geneva is back for its second Curiosity Talk Event, join us to discover the fascinating life of Claire Doole.
Claire’s professional life has been driven by curiosity and the search for values
that in today’s ever-changing world are more important than ever. After a brief foray into acting, she found her vocation as a BBC journalist, reporting from
Berlin, Brussels, Geneva, London and Washington. She covered many memorable
events such as the death of Princess Diana and the events of September 11th.
She then moved into the world of public relations, acting as spokesperson for the UN
Refugee Agency, and WWF International before setting up her own business.
Today she helps others in their search for clarity, coaching and training in how to talk to the media, speak in public, and write speeches. Effective communication is much harder now than it ever was, but Claire remains endlessly curious to see how we can rise to the challenge of disinformation, misinformation and information overload.
During her Talk, Claire will share precious hindsights with us on communicating in an ever changing world and the lessons she has learned in her journalist and Public Relations careers. Claire will also share a few tips with us on effective communication and public speaking.
We are looking forward to this memorable evening with you all. Claire is helping women find their voice. Now it’s your turn !
Her Talk will be in English.
