It’s after a 6 month internship in Chicago that former lawyer Margaux Hammer, created the French Curiosity Club. The Paris venture launched in February 2015, has since, hosted 21 talks and spread worldwide to Lille, London, and Mumbai.
The FCC is about curiosity. Freeing it, enhancing it, celebrating it!
Every month, the FCC connects women and speakers with inspiring life-experiences, passions and careers. In Paris we’ve hosted speakers from different backgrounds such as, a basketball champion, a world renowned wedding dress designer, an elite French police force officer, a ballerina and a lot more!
Our idea is to boost the interaction between women. The FCC is a series of monthly meet-ups aiming to shed the light on talented and ambitious women who inspire our international audience in handpicked venues. We host our talks in relaxed, friendly and cosy atmospheres. Why 100% feminine? Why not? We wanted to create a unique dynamic.
From Paris to London – we’re excited to kick off our first London meet-up!
The FCC is a team of 5 young dynamic women (from left Valentine, Cecilia, Camille, Anna & Vanessa) from diverse backgrounds and complementary skills. They run these meet-ups alongside their respective careers as events planner, head of community, lawyer, copywriter and project manager.

Today, more than ten years after Béatrice crafted the first Merci Maman bracelet from her kitchen table, she now sits alongside her husband, and their team of 30 in their London, Paris and future Berlin studios.
The hand-engraved jewellery is now loved worldwide and even treasured by royalty – The Duchess of Cambridge wears a Merci Maman necklace engraved with Prince George’s name!
